I need an egg donation

Health complications and the older age of the woman affect the number and quality of eggs produced. We have prepared our donation program for these clients. Donated eggs can be fertilized with the partner’s sperm or donated sperm.

We place great emphasis on the selection of donor women to ensure the highest quality eggs suitable for donation.

  • We select donors between the ages of 18 and 33.
  • Donors undergo detailed health and genetic testing.
  • The donation program is completely anonymous for both the donor and the client.
  • A suitable donor is selected by a physician based on your preferred conditions (blood type, hair color, eye color, height, weight, age, education).
  • We guarantee a minimum of 2 embryos at the blastocyst stage provided if your partner’s sperm is normal (normozoospermia) or/and if the HaloSperm test (sperm DNA fragmentation index) results are positive.
  • Egg donation is completely legal in the Czech Republic and donors are compensated for reasonable costs associated with the donation.

Germ cell donation is voluntary and anonymous for the donor, the infertile couple and the child conceived using this method. Stellart Clinic Teplice must keep medical records for 30 years and the entire program is subject to regular inspections by state authorities (State Institute for Drug Control, Ministry of Health).

Stellart Clinic has a comprehensive database of donors and donors and thanks to this we are able to select the most suitable ones without long waiting times.

Course of treatment with donated eggs

Step 1

Initial consultation with a doctor

During your first meeting with our specialist, you will receive comprehensive information about IVF treatment with donated eggs. We will select a suitable egg donor based on your preferences such as hair color, eye color, height, and key factors such as RH factor and blood type.

Step 2

Synchronisation of cycles

Your treatment can begin by synchronising your menstrual cycles. The doctor will adjust your cycle and begin hormonal stimulation of the donor woman so that everything is perfectly timed for the next steps of treatment. If you don’t wish the synchronisation or it wouldn’t be for any reason possible you can prepare in any month you want for a cryoembryotransfer. The success rates are the same as with the embryotransfer.

Step 3

OPU – Egg retrieval

After 10 to 14 days of hormonal stimulation of the donor, her eggs are retrieved. On the same day, the sperm from the partner (or from a donor) will be used for in-vitro fertilisation.

Step 4

Fertilisation and embryo cultivation

In the laboratory we fertilize eggs using ICSI or PICSI methods, either with the partner’s (fresh or cryopreserved) or donated sperm. This is followed by a five-day culture of the developed embryos.

Step 5

ET / Embryotransfer

After successful culture, the selected embryo is transferred into the uterus of the recipient. The procedure takes place in our surgery room without anaesthesia and takes only 10 minutes. Your partner can be present to support you. After a short rest, you will receive all the information you need for the next steps and you can return home without any worries.

Step 6

Pregnancy test

Two weeks after the procedure, you will take a pregnancy test. We also recommend an HCG blood test to confirm the pregnancy and rule out any complications, even if the urine test comes out negative. This test is important to confirm pregnancy but also to rule out biochemical or ectopic pregnancy.
